About Americana – Santa Rosa, CA

Samantha & Ryan Ramey are a husband/wife duo with a passion for all things food. They focus on classic preparations where they can use the local area’s seasonal bounties. Sourcing is a key element to their offerings and mission. Ryan is a classically trained chef and Samantha was raised working in the front-of-house of restaurants. They began their own entrepreneurship as caterers in the Bodega Bay Area before purchasing Estero Cafe In Valley Ford in 2014. Building on its success, Samantha and Ryan opened Americana in early 2020, only to be shut down by the pandemic. Americana made it’s triumphant “eye of the tiger” return in May of 2021.

Americana is a classic American style diner located in in the Historic Railroad District of Santa Rosa. Featuring the same quality food we’re known for at our sister restaurant, Estero Cafe, Americana is a family friendly restaurant with old-town charm.

They buy zero food from big distributors. Nothing. All of their produce, meats and dry goods come from local purveyors, and the purchases are as relationship-driven as they are transactional.
