About Americana – Santa Rosa, CA

Samantha & Ryan Ramey are a husband/wife duo with a passion for all things food. They focus on classic preparations where they can use the local area’s seasonal bounties. Sourcing is a key element to their offerings and mission. Ryan is a classically trained chef and Samantha was raised working in the front-of-house of restaurants. They began their own entrepreneurship as caterers in the Bodega Bay Area before purchasing Estero Cafe In Valley Ford in 2014.

Building on Estero’s success, Samantha and Ryan opened Americana in Santa Rosa in early 2020, and weathered the pandemic to grow and thrive. All of our restaurants have been labors of love to bring to life, and our newest is no exception. We’ve been so warmly welcomed to the Sebastopol community by fellow business owners and residents, that this time really feels like we are coming home to a place we’ve always loved.

West County is where we started our first business, opened our first restaurant, and chose to raise our family. It is the embodiment of our entire ethos of supporting local farmers and vendors with organic, sustainable, and beautiful food.

We’re incredibly excited to fold this newest venture in to the fabric of our story, and to meet all of you there along the way.

They buy zero food from big distributors. Nothing. All of their produce, meats and dry goods come from local purveyors, and the purchases are as relationship-driven as they are transactional.
